The bayou Courtableau has a storied place in my family, and it centers around this beautiful lady. But we'll get to that story later. For now, a quick introduction. This outlet is for creative writing. When I don't have time to write, I'll post good writing from dead people who are unlikely to be grumpy about copyright concerns. About me. I'm a writer, who has never had anything published and only has been pushed to writing by a relatively mediocre divorce (neither truly good nor truly bad, it's merely lingering) and a career that inspires her in many ways except for creatively. I'm also a mother, a human, and a voracious reader who's taken a haitus from voracious reading to have a job and children. But I still like being well-read-voraciously, so I spend time on Twitter finding very good longform writing on the internet and I listen to audiobooks relatively often. Welcome.
